Arrive 10am
$50 flight to Atacama: 10:42am flight to Calama CJC Airport
-
Atacama Desert, Chile
Arrive 1pm then get a shuttle transfer to San Pedro de Atacama (an hour or two)
Things to do: Sand boarding maybe in Valle de la Muerte- should just be able to rent one from nearby shops
Sick rock formations at Valle de Luna: can hire bikes through, apparently some hectic sunset lookout points, book a telescope session, high altitude lagoon ft. flamingos and sunsets
Two day tour options: 1. El Tatio has geysers which seems cool (early leave) and some arvo hot springs
2. Altiplano: Piedras Rojas + Altiplanic Lagoons + flamingos (would likely see flamingos on the salar de uyuni tour at high altitude lagoons) more unique landscapes
Shuttle back to wherever Rohan's tour he found departs
-
Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
*Rohan Tour - will add detail on specifically where we go* Will end getting an overnight bus to La Paz (considered in the third night here)
-
La Paz, Bolivia
Overnight bus from wherever Rohans tour finishes Uyuni, so would have two and a half full days then ideally would get a late arvo bus to Lake Titicaca
Apparently meant to be a pretty cool city: cable cars, markets, female drama wrestling and the day trips
https://www.ticketsbolivia.com/buses_paso1.php Is a good website to book buses, might have to go via copacabana. 3:30-9:30pm direct

-
Quelccaya, Peru
Cusco - Lima flight $50
-
Machu Picchu, Peru
Cheapest so far is $465 USD/person https://www.machupicchureservations.org/tour/inca-trail-2-days
Salkantay is $310USD for https://www.machupicchureservations.org/tour/salkantay-trek-3-days apparently similar views, no limit on bookings so unpredictable "crowdedness"- don't go through the sun gate which may be overrated due to fog. Salkantay treck (~75kms - min 3 days?) probs best through an agency so we don't have to organise tents and shit
-
Lima, Peru
Pretty sure there's a pyramid in the city
