Borobudur Temple (9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple’s) - 1hr and 30 minute drive from hostel. Can hire a grab driver for a few hours for £5 each roughly for the day 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Prambanan Temple (Hindu temple) - an hours drive in the opposite direction to Borobudur (we could do in the same day but it is a lot of driving). Again we could grab to the temple as day tours are very spenny 🥲🥲🥲
- At this temple they have dance shows, traditional Indonesian ballet performances. Ramayana Ballet Prambanan: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday | 7:30–9:30 PM
- Plaosan Temple (Buddhist Temple) - a 7 minute drive from Prambanan (so might as well do at the same time) 🧜♀️🧜♀️🧜♀️
