12th - whale watching and maybe early lunch in Kaikoura,
Marlborough sounds - find a walk or something to do around there
Then drive to Nelson
13th and 14th are interchangeable
13th - wine tasting half day around Nelson/tasman area and explore Nelson?
14th - Abel Tasman national park day trip. Around 1 hr drive from Nelson.
I like the idea of a kayak trip?
15th - relatively early start and go to Tasman lakes which is on way to arthurs pass? Maybe lunch there?
Alternatively go to pancake rocks that Claire suggested and try get there for lunch?
Then onto Arthur’s pass

Walk in arthurs pass either evening or first thing in morning or both.
Hit the road the next morning

17th - Mt cook day trip, hooker valley walk
18th - around lake Tekapo, at night the observatory
19th - head to wanaka first thing

19th - Arrive first thing
20th - stay for lunch then drive to Te anau

Te Anau, New Zealand
20th - arrive in evening, wander, chill
21st - early potentially 6am start to Milford sound. Try get 8:45 ish boat tour before buses arrive from queenstown.
Visitor center
Pick up lunch and slowly work way back to ate Anau, loads of good suggestions in the book.
Then a walk in a quieter place
22nd - potentially glow caves from te anau. Loads of other walks around there.
