Day 1 - Saturday 24th May - Tour 24th 6:00-7:30pm- Austen's After Hours at Bath Abbey - On this special after-hours tour, when the Abbey is closed to the public, costumed guides bring history to life as they introduce you to these 18th century residents of Bath.
Day 2 - Bath to Cheddar Gorge and see Jacob's Ladder. Then drive to Wells the smallest city in England. Wells Cathedral.
Day 3 - Bath to Stonehenge. Return via Stourhead. Stourhead has landscape gardens across a valley. There is a 2-mile garden circuit including a Georgian Temple of Apollo from the Pantheon to King Alfred's Tower.
Day 4 - Day trip around Bath itself. At 10:30 am every day and 2 pm Sunday to Friday there is a free walking tour that goes from just outside the Roman Baths. This tour is run by the Mayor of Bath and it is completely FREE. The tour lasts for 2 hours.
Day 5 - Bath to Landsown - 3hr walk (8.4km)

From the bus stop to our house is 200m, with approximately 100 stairs.
From the ferryboat stop you need to add another 300m of road.
In Blevio there’s one Coffee bar that is also a restaurant at lunch, and one restaurant on the lake shores that is open for lunch and dinner.
There is also a village convenience store where can buy some groceries and homemade meals.
In regards to the distance to the coffee bar and convenience store is about 250m and to the restaurant on the lake shore is the same as the ferryboat stop (the restaurant is right there at the stop).

Horse Race - Training Sessions happen twice per day @ 9am and 7:30pm. Enter the Square 30 minutes prior. The Prova Generale (general trail) is the most important one (on evening before Palio). Each Contrada (suburb) organises dinners and festivals in the streets and squares.
Official Race takes place at 7pm. Before that a grand traditional parade is held (medieval costumes, flag throwers, drummers). The winning horse can win without a jockey but the win is claimed by the Contrada.
ON THE RACE DAY - Gates CLOSE 3 hours prior. (Note - no cameras held high. No restrooms. Refreshments can be purchased.)

Palio di Provenzano 2025 will begin, as usual, early on the morning of July 2, and will conclude in the evening.
7.30 am – Mass of the jockeys (La Messa del Fantino) in the Chapel of Piazza del Campo;
9.00 am – Provaccia, the last test race;
2.30 pm – Benediction of the horses participating in the race;
4.00 pm – The closing of Piazza del Campo begins;
5.00 pm – The beginning of the Historical Procession;
7.30 pm – The race begins.
Palio dell’Assunta 2025 will take place on August 16, according to the following program:
