Your starting point — fuel up and hit I-15 heading west toward Las Vegas then onto California. Consider a quick stop at Snow Canyon State Park before you leave town. The drive to San Francisco is roughly 10-11 hours, so an early start is recommended.
San Francisco, United States

Walk the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, explore Fisherman's Wharf, and grab sourdough clam chowder at Boudin Bakery. Don't miss the Ferry Building Marketplace for fresh local bites and a stroll through the Mission District. Parking can be tough — consider a hotel with a garage or use BART and Muni to get around.
Santa Cruz, United States

Just 75 minutes south of San Francisco along Highway 1, Santa Cruz is home to the famous Boardwalk amusement park and excellent surf beaches. Stroll Pacific Avenue for local shops and grab fish tacos at a beachside joint. Natural Bridges State Beach is a beautiful spot to relax before your drive home to St. George.
