The Ao Nang Monkey Trail - starts at southern end of Ao Nang beach and leave to Pai Plong Beach - secluded and chill. 15 mins. Snorkeling at Poda Island - early morning to avoid crowds. Calm crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, lots of marine life. Tubing at Klong Song Phraek - many locals enjoy a beer or whiskey on way down. Krabi bioluminescent plankton - can be seen Ao Nang, Railay or night boat tours Koh Phi Phi. River rafting on the Songprak River. Koh Lanta - Two hours from Krabi town - ferry or speed boat. Long Beach and Kantiang Bay, relaxing and sunsets. Old Town - local seafood & traditional wooden houses. Snorkeling at Koh Rok and Koh Haa. Fire Dance on Ao Nang Beach, near booking spot for long boats to Railay. Snorkelling: Hong Island, Maya Bay, Bamboo Island. The Mountain Buddha Temple, Ao Nang - not crowded, great view. Peaceful. Rent scooter or local guide - not many sign posts. Dragon Crest Mountain Hike - 3.7km each way. Steep to summit - 2-3 hours to reach. Amazing view of the Andaman Sea. Krabi Night Market. Long boat to Railay Beach - 200-300 THB ($10-15) Tiger Cave Temple - 1260 steps. Incredible views. Emerald Pool and Blue Pool - can’t swim in Blue Pool. Pheasant Cave Beach Diamond Cave - $10 9 min walk floating pier Railay SNORKELLING: Railay and Phra Nang- at either end of the beaches, western end healthier.
