Mit dem Bus
In Panama City ist die zentrale Busstation an der “Albrook Mall”, das “Gran
Terminal de Transporte”. Von dort fährt alle 25 Minuten, von 6.30 bis 18.30 Uhr,
ein Direktbus nach El Valle. Tickets gibts am Schalter “El Valle”, der Bus fährt
von der Plattform 48 ab. Für Erwachsene kostet die einfache Fahrt $ 4,25
Rückreise und Weiterreise
Der letzte Direktbus von El Valle nach Panama fährt gegen 15.30 Uhr.
Man kann aber auch später mit dem San Carlos Bus nach Las Uvas oder San Carlos
fahren und von dort aus, direkt an der Interamericana, einen Bus nach Panama
City nehmen.
Von El Valle aus fährt auch ein Direktbus nach Penonomé, gegen 6.30 und 9.30
Uhr. In Penonomé direkt an der Autobahn ist eine Haltestelle für die großen
Überlandbusse nach Santiago, David etc. und zur Grenze nach Costa Rica.
Normalerweise läßt sich jeder Bus an der Interamericana an die Seite winken, nur
die Überlandbusse machen selten eine Ausnahme (außer nach Santiago, wo sich der
nächste große Busbahnhof in westlicher Richtung befindet).
BUS – A one-hour public bus from the David bus station to Boquete Central Park
for $1.75 per person. The bus runs hourly from around 5:00am to 9:00pm (from
David to Boquete). The buses are located on the back side of the bus station,
and the “Boquete” buses are the old yellow school buses with “Boquete” written
across the front. If arriving to the David Airport, you will need to take a taxi
from the Airport to the David Bus Station (around $10).
