The city should have nice weather bc it’s spring currently. Gonna be quite hot in June. Overall could be very cool to hang out around here for a while whilst we get used to Vietnam 🇻🇳 Has a great historical places Ho Chi Minh mausoleum Hoa Lo Prison (probably not) google says it’s sobering aka probably horrible and would make us sad - trip ruiner☹️
Halong Bay, Vietnam

Halong bay is a world heritage site. Could book an overnight “junk boat” cruise. We can also walk through some of the cave systems that are filled with stalagmites There’s also some hiking we can do and swimming on the beach. 2.5-3 hour drive from Hanoi so we should stay overnight at the bay
Ninh Bình, Vietnam
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Vietnam

Amazing cave systems. Phong Nha cave, paradise cave. Good for adventure and nature hikes. Quite laid back. It’s rural though so we might not be able to go bc of Japanese Euphrates I think. Also has a massive national park which again idk if we can go in but it could be a cool day out.
