Check in your bungalow in Tha village. Trek to the neighbouring village to explore the local waterfall. This place has a relatively flat terrain with wide stream, two sides of the stream are low hills, giant orphaned primitive rocks, intertwined in old palm forests. After having breakfast, check-out your accommodation start your adventure to Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. On the route, stop at many attractions to take photos and get insight into the local. Then stop at Lung Tam linen cooperative, a Flower H’mong village, to learn how to make embroidery from those experts. Lunch will be served on the route.
Then get on your car and continue your journey to Ma Pi Leng pass. Ma Pi Leng Pass is not long but it is the most adventurous pass in the northern border mountain area. It is considered as the “King” of the Vietnam’s pass or Great Wall of Vietnam or the Pyramid of the Meo. At the top of Ma Pi Leng mount is the “happiness” road, there has a stone stele recording the marks in the construction process. Ma Pi Leng pass is considered the unique regional heritage about landscape and geomorphology. Scenery in Ma Pi Leng pass is unique with majestic and wild beauty. Looking to the north and northeast, thousands of gray mountains concatenate to the horizon. Net to the road is abyss, below is the Nho Que River with cool water.
You will hike on Skypath before checking your hotel in Dong Van town. Depending on your health capacity, your guide will lead you to hike from a short distance (3km) or a long distance (6km). Then head to Dong Van ancient town. Overnight at a hotel here.

After breakfast, hop on your car and head to palace of the H’mong king, which was a royal family of high rank during French colonial rule – this palace attracts keen interest from architecturally minded visitors due to its mixed style of European and Chinese architecture. The Hmong King Palace is located in the Sa Phin commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province in the northeast Vietnam. In the early nineteenth century, the Vuong family controlled the entire region and Vuong Duc Chinh, head of the family, proclaimed himself “king of the H’Mong”. To reinforce his power, King H’mong built a palace-fortress.
Then visit Lao Xa, an ancient village. We will stop by these villages to visit H’mong and Hoa ethnic families and interact with the locals. This ancient village is very antique with traditional old houses 200 years old of the Hoa and Hmong people. It was interesting to see how the H’mong people live in this beautiful region, in the 21st century they still have to live in such a poor condition. Hà Giang is one of the poorest provinces in Vietnam. Because of special geological condition (mountains and rocks make up majority of the land area), water sources are scarce and maize is one of the main crops. Spend more time here to interact with different tribal people to get insight into the local.

After enjoying breakfast with your host, at the end of village, there is a nice waterfall – Nai Nam Dam Waterfall, an ideal place to cool off to have a fresh start for the day.
Then hopping on the car and continue your adventure to visit Lung Khuy Cave that is one of the newest cave, has just explored since 2015 in Ha Giang. In January 2016, they opened this cave to visit in which there is an amazing view with thousands of twinkle stalagmites and stalactites inside.
After having a short walk with 2km and vice versa, visitors can get there. You will be lured into miracle landscapes along way to get the cave.
Then heading to Hanoi, you will get dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi around 5-6 p.m.

The shared limosine bus from the cruise will pick Ms Esther and Mr Henricus up from your hotel in Hanoi around 8:30 a.m.

This 300-meter-long cave features thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering unique geological and ecological wonders. By noon, guests arrive at Cat Ba National Park, a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve in Northern Vietnam, home to a diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna.
At 1:00 PM, a delightful lunch is served on Cat Ba Island before heading to a local market at 2:30 PM to explore the island’s culture and products. By 3:30 PM, passengers are transferred back to Gia Luan Pier and board the Ambassador Signature Cruise via speedboat.

After breakfast, get ready to cycle to Bich Dong Pagoda. Tam Coc river is considered as the most attractive tourist destination in Ninh Binh, known for its famous name like “Halong bay on land” and is a part of the Trang An scenic landscape complex, the World Heritage site (UNESCO).
Bich Dong Pagoda is a historical and cultural relic belonging to the Tam Coc scenic complex of Ninh Binh province. This is an attractive spiritual tourist destination, bringing visitors to the majestic place of the Buddha’s door, the peace of the mountainous region. Every spring, the temple attracts a large number of Buddhists and tourists from all over the world who come here to worship and enjoy the scenery.
Then, bike or next move by car to Dancing cave mountain where visitors need to climb up more than 500 steps to reach the top with panoramic view of Ninh Binh, Trang An and Tam Coc landscape.
After that, welcome to Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong's Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.
After that, we will move to Mai Chau in the afternoon. On arrival, your homestay host will make you welcome, prepare dinner, before we take a well-earned rest for the night.

Mai Chau, Vietnam
After breakfast, hop on your car and head to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 11th century. Visit the Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh Temple. Appreciate the unique architecture. Delve deep into history and learn about the first Vietnamese government. Explore the excavation area. Experience the vestiges of Royal Palace ground dated back to the 10th century. After that, we will move to Mai Chau in the afternoon. On arrival, your homestay host will make you welcome, prepare dinner, before we take a well-earned rest for the night. Overnight at a White Thai family at Te village. Toilet and bathroom are shared outside of the room.
After breakfast, start to hike through open rice fields, passing tiny villages and meet the local farmers at work. Then trek through jungle to Lac hamlet. Located in the hidden corner of Mai Chau valley, Ban Lac ( Lac village) is beautifully surrounded by gorgeous mountains, pleasant streams & green paddy fields which create a pristinely rustic scenery. Lac village is very famous for White Thai community where visitors can see their traditional houses on stilt. Overnight at the same White Thai family at Te village.
NOTE: If you do not feel good for trekking through jungle, spend more time in Lac village by cycling around and then move by car to your White Thai homestay in Te hamlet.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Vietnam
After breakfast, take a hike tour around Xam Khoe village. Explore the local life of the White Thai community there. It is the harvesting season of rice, you will have chance to visit golden rive paddies. In the early afternoon, get on your car move to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
Pu Luong is located in two provinces; Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, about 160 km southwest of Hanoi. It is a popular weekend getaway, but sees relatively few foreign visitors. This makes a nice change from the nearby and more popular Mai Chau. The reserve was established in 1999 to protect the biodiversity of the area. Here you will find a mix of pristine forests and cultivated rice terraces. It is a perfect landscape for a trekking and multi-day hikes are therefore the most popular activity.
Stop at Don Village where you will start about 2 hours walking trip along the road to Hieu Hamlet – the most beautiful and remote hamlet in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, hike on the off-the-beaten-track passing through the beautiful valley of rice terraces and up to mountains for panoramic view of the region. Continue hiking up along the captivating waterfall to come to a stilt house for overnight bungalow.
Dinner with local specialties and overnight at a traditional bungalow of Black Thai with wonderful mountain and rice view from windows.
