Ocean rafting for day tour was insane. Do NOT stay at nomads here it’s vile We stayed at Airlie beach and the kitchen was insane best kitchen on the whole trio and only private rooms. Not a social hostel tho. Found the food options here a bit shit. But the boat house bar and magnums are the good bars. Think they do bingo at boatys too. Go to the lagoon also. Spend 2 full days here I’d say and the Whitsundays on top.

Townsville - don’t stay here get off the bus and straight on the ferry to magnetic island. Stay 3 nights at base hostel. Bingo is great so try stay on a Friday I think but check that. Feed carrots to the rock wallaby’s, rent a barbie car or we actually rented mopeds and think we preferred this unless u have a group of 4. Make sure u get a 4x4 one and check u can go to the sunset point with it if u wanna go there. Do the forts walk too.
