Chijmes - used to be a cathedral and convent now cute bars and restaurants
Penkalan food - Chinese/Malay/Indian
Arab street - cute shops selling rugs arc and outdoor bar/restaurant area
Atlas bar is near here too - bit expensive but lovely setting and had drinks
going all the way up to the ceiling
Tanjong pagar area - not far from city lots of good places to eat and drink and
nice looking buildings, I normally stay in this area with work), really big
hawker market round here too
Went to a great degustation restaurant here called the tippling room - needs to
be booked in advance but well worth it
Marina bay sands area:
Marina bay sands/gardens by the bay at night
Lion statue and there’s some cute pubs along the front
You can also rent lime bikes and cycle all the way round by the beaches -
there’s a great hawker (food) market at the end of the trail but it is quite
far. Or just get round far enough to satay by the bay
Robertson quay
Sentosa - take the cable car or the train is pretty fun too. There’s lots to do
but it is a bit organised fun. I went to an amazing Italian restaurant called
‘Fiamma’ which is the Capella hotel - amazing food and gorgeous setting in the
gardens and over the resort pool
Food:
Note been to these but they are on my list: Odette, Lavo, level 33
Try chilli crab, kya toast, hawker markets for cheap food
