Use Port Angeles as your base camp for the park's northern highlights. Visit the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center for stunning alpine views and don't miss the Elwha River area. Stock up on supplies at local grocery stores before heading into the park.
Hoh Rain Forest, United States

One of the largest temperate rainforests in the US, the Hoh is a must-see with its moss-draped maple and Sitka spruce trees. Walk the Hall of Mosses Trail and the Hoh River Trail for incredible scenery. The Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center has great exhibits on the ecosystem.
Forks, United States

The small town of Forks serves as a convenient gateway to the Pacific coast beaches of the park. Visit Ruby Beach and Second Beach for dramatic sea stacks and tide pools. Grab a bite at a local diner and explore the nearby Bogachiel State Park before heading out.
