I don't think I've ever been anywhere like this village, it's icaria amontada. At the weekend it's buzzing, but during the week, there is nobody in the town at night or on the beach during the day. I absolutely love it, if your looking for somewhere to completely relax this is it. Wonderful restaurants and very friendly locals. Heading to Jericoacoara tomorrow ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️Hello everyone, I will be In Brazil for third year in a row :) I would like to stay in Q4 2026 on the island of Florianopolis or Praia de Rosa/Garopaba (Santa Catalina). I am looking for the best place where the atmosphere is relax, hippy vibes and where there are some foreigners. Which place should you recommend? If you want an adventure, you can take a bus haha. But that's a day gone at least. Flying although not cheap these days is better and far more convenient. Not much reason to drive from Foz to Bonito but if you do its probably 10hrs min.
If you do rent a car, many people who visit Bonito head to Corumbá - this is the southern entrance of the Pantanal! It's a 4 to 5hr drive.
If you the more raw wildlife in Porto Jofre, its a crazy long road from to Poconé, all dirt roads and wooden bridges haha.
