Right before moving into the hairpin bend, you can park your bike in the grass on the right side of the road. Be careful when accessing: there's not much space. From the picknick table you'll have a beautiful view onto the Javorski mountain and the Bohinj valley in the distance

. Rest Break - Lake Bohinj (Bohinjsko Jezero)
You've arrived at the glacial lake of Bohinj, roughly 4.2km in length. You can stop here for a break at one of the many restaurants and perhaps go for a short walk. If you're interested you can also visit the 78m high Savica waterfall at the Westside of the lake. Once you continue the route you'll follow the Savica river which originates from the Bohinj lake.

. Rest break and sight visit - Skofja Loka
Škofja Loka is a medieval town with a pittoresque old centre standing on river terraces. You can park at the parking area at the entrance of the old city centre and from here walk to the Capuchin Bridge crossing the Selška Sora river, the old Castle and St. Jacob's church. Don't forget to take a break at Kavarna Homan or any of the other small restaurants in the city.

. Attention - offroad section (decision moment)
You only have to travel roughly 17 km to reach today's end of the route. The majority of the upcoming section is offroad, even though it's a formal road. This section offers stunning views onto the Cerknisko lake and is a beautiful ride through the natural area surrounding the lake. If you prefer to stay on tarmac, then please don't turn right to follow the route, but keep riding and follow the 212 until you reach Bloška Polica. At the T-junction turn right onto the 213 towards Stari trg pri Ložu.

. Break stop - Restaurant Etno Selo Dodig (Ethno Village of Dodig)
If you're not afraid of a bit of gravel, you can turn right at the upcoming intersection onto the M14.2 northbound. In the small village of Podovi, turn right onto the R410 and, after appr. 200m left onto a gravel road. Simply follow the sign "Etno Selo Dodig” and you'll be surprised to find a stunning mountain hut restaurant where you can have an amazing break.

. Photo stop - Unac National Park and the waterfalls of Martin Brod
Martin Brod is quite a special place. Its small size doesn't show that it's such an impressive place. If you watch carefully, you will see that the Una river contains various waterfalls. Close to this rp there's another beautiful robust bridge. This one is only meant for walking. You can park your bike next to the bridge and walk onto it to view the waterfalls.

This hidden gem is hidden in thick forests, away from the main road. The rp is located next to the airplane wreck. The Air Base is beyond this rp. Follow the unpaved road that leads from the parking area in front of the airplane towards the South East. The Air Base is marked with a POI. Please be very careful here as unexplored terrain can still contain live landmines!

The Dientner Sattel (1357m) offers a great alternative route to avoid the crowded B311 connecting Taxenbach with Bischofshofen. It has delicious turns and twisties, which makes it popular for local speed-junkies. Please enjoy the road, but be cautious for oncoming traffic.
