Singapore, Singapore
1) Chinatown:
• Ann Siang Hill, Telok Ayer Street or Amoy Street for the architecture of the shophouses in singapore.
• In chinatown, you may wish to visit the buddhist tooth relic temple which is a very traditional buddhist temple made using chinese architecture principles. A few streets away, on Telok Ayer Street, there is Singapore’s oldest chinese temple known as thian hock keng temple. Even though both are chinese temples, the architecture is largely different. Both temples close at 6pm.
• Definitely go to daiso, it's a Japanese store where everything is 1.5€.
Lunch at Chinatown hawker center then head to Kampong Glam. Fountain of Wealth: largest fountain in the world
2) Arab Street/ Haji Lane. This is predominantly the muslim/malay area in Singapore. You may wish to visit the Mosque, hippie Haji lane and Arab Street.
3) Little India. It is predominantly an area in Singapore with many indian influences. You may visit the Indian temple along the main street + BUGIS STREET
Evening: Then go to gardens by the way supertree grove for the light show at 7:45. Walk around the area it's incredible and come back for the second light show at 8:45.
Day 2
Morning:
Southern Ridges: If you have time, you can visit this area in Singapore. It is actually a nature park that is connected by 2 bridges. The bridges are really nice! You can also google, Henderson Wave and Alexandra Bridge Singapore! Advisable to do this together with Sentosa as they are quite near. Sunset over here is pretty rad in my opinion
Afternoon: lunch at Amoy Street Food Center to eat at A Noodle Story, J2 curry puff and amazing cold coffee at coffe break. Then Marina Bay Area, Merlion Statue (shaped with a lion head and a mermaid’s tail, is symbolic of Singapore), Esplanade (It is a theatre that is shaped to look like Durians- which is a horrible tasting fruit that locals enjoy), gardens by the bay, flower dome, cloud forest, OCBC skyway, supertree observatory. Do the last two as late as possible it's better when it's dark. Gardens by the Bay: There is a light show at Gardens by the Bay (Supertree area-Look out for the weird structures) daily at 7.45pm and 8.45pm
