HUACACHINA TO NAZCA TO AREQUIPA
Our Recommended plan depends on what option you choose:
I WILL/MAYBE do a Nazca Lines Flight: you can take a shuttle van down to Nazca earlier in the morning from Huacachina (7am, cost aprox $16), do the flight, and get dropped at the Peru Hop bus in Nazca at 6pm and continue to Arequipa as noted below..
We can help you organize all of this and take care of your bags etc, many passengers do this option.
I do NOT want to do a Nazca Lines Flight: The below recommended plan is made for you.

Depart Huacachina – Meeting point is Wild Rover Hostel
Important Note Please arrive 15 minutes before the bus departs and be sure to bring all your luggage to the bus.

Nazca Lines Viewing Tower – Enjoy a FREE view of 3 of the famous and mysterious Nazca Lines: The Hands, The Tree and The Lizard. These massive ancient geoglyphs, created over 1,500 years ago, can only be seen properly from above.

Arrive in Arequipa – Arguably Peru's most beautiful city, the "Ciudad Blanca" to locals, or the White City!

Note
Many travelers find that starting a 2 Day trek or tour after an overnight bus is very tiring. If you are short on time the 1-day tour option might be best for you. To do a Colca Canyon Trek requires a minimum of 3-4 days in Arequipa (you will need at least 1 day to acclimatize properly) and will depend on the option you choose (2 Day/1 Night Trek or 3 Days/2 Nights).

Traveler tip: The altitude here is high, so make sure to drink plenty of water and stay away from heavy food.
