Day 1 (Jul 8): Arrive, check in, recover from travel — evening stroll around Ningyo-cho Amazake Yokocho and grab yakitori at a local izakaya. Day 2 (Jul 9): Asakusa — Senso-ji Temple at sunrise before crowds, Nakamise shopping street, Kaminarimon Gate; afternoon Ueno Park & Tokyo National Museum; evening Akihabara for electronics and anime culture. Day 3 (Jul 10): Tsukiji Outer Market breakfast (fresh sushi, tamagoyaki); Hamarikyu Gardens; afternoon ferry along Sumida River to Asakusa; evening Tokyo Skytree for panoramic night views. Day 4 (Jul 11): Yanaka neighbourhood (old Tokyo feel, temples, vintage shops, Yanaka Cemetery walk); afternoon Nezu Shrine (beautiful torii path, less crowded than Fushimi Inari); evening Koenji for indie bars and vintage fashion. Day 5 (Jul 12): Day trip to Nikko — Tosho-gu Shrine complex, ornate mausoleums, Kegon Falls (2.5 hrs by train); return to Ningyo-cho in the evening. Day 10 (Jul 15): Fushimi Inari Taisha — arrive by 7 AM to beat the heat and crowds, hike the full 4km torii tunnel to the summit (allow 2–3 hrs); afternoon Tofuku-ji Temple and its famous Zen garden; evening Pontocho alley dinner (riverside restaurants with yuka outdoor decks over the Kamo River).
