Rij vanuit San José in twee uur naar Puntarenas. Vanaf Puntarenas vertrekt de ferry naar Paquera. Je gaat met de auto op de ferry en vanaf Paquera is het nog één uur en 20 minuten rijden naar Santa Teresa. Als je met de huurauto reist, is het aan te raden om een paar dagen van te voren deze ferry te reserveren. Dit kan je hier doen met een creditcard. Bij Tipo de Vehiculo moet je Vehículo Liviano selecteren wanneer je een personenauto hebt.
