you can take from Oaxaca will take you to Hierve el Agua. A place high on the
hill in the Mexican countryside which is interesting thanks to several pools
where you can swim and enjoy amazing vistas, and then you can hike a short trail
under calcified waterfalls.

I knew before booking my trip to Puerto Escondido is that the WIFI is totally
unreliable. My reception on my Mexican SIM card wasn’t much better and was
barely able to pull Google results. The best internet provider in town is called
StarLink. It’s common to see Airbnbs and such advertising this provider because
it is the fastest internet in town but it’s still susceptible to sudden
blackouts. It’s also important to remember that when the WIFI goes down in town,
so do all the card machines so it’s a good idea to keep emergency cash. Playa
Bacocho, Playa Carrizalillo and Playa Coral are the best beaches for swimming in
Puerto Escondido.
