Picked Josh and Brian up from the airport and then cruised onto the first tasting of the 2024 vintage of La Bella Rosa. After that we headed back into town to start preing at Suburb St with Emma & Tara. The RTDs in NZL are unreal, legit so good - the range is hectic. Snow Machine was also unreal, Peking Duk's set was one of the best I'd ever heard. Unfortunately it was raining most of the next day - we went to Hunting & Fishing and had an unreal time there before driving down looking for a good view of queenstown. The second night of the festival was funny - gumboots on, in puddles of water and mud we were cruising around to straight Kiwi DnB.

Dropped off Josh to the airport and headed into Gibbston for Stu's birthday. Had a chill afternoon with a few home-brewed beers at the ex-UNSW Chancellor now turned astronomer's place. Kicked onto church before a cute dinner the five of us. Just nice to sit at Boycey's table and chat with his parents cosy inside while it rained outside - a nice chill end to a great trip. In the end - how many more times in my life am I going to wake up on a winery!
