Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka
One of Sri Lanka’s ancient cities, Anuradhapura is well known for its ancient
palaces and temples. Take time to see these ancient buildings and also wander

Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
Located just north of Dambulla, Sigiriya was constructed as a royal palace
during King Kashyapa’s reign. In its early years, it served as a retreat for
spiritual enlightenment, but later on became a place where kings resided and
displayed their power. Since then it has been mostly abandoned and is now an
archeological site open to visitors.

Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka
One of my favorite things to do when visiting a new country is travel to a
remote, little-known destination. Nuwara Eliya is a lovely little town located
high up in Sri Lanka’s central hills.
